Smile with your eyes honey boo boo

I feel like all I have to say lately is how fast the days are coming and going. If you have looked at a calendar recently its almost September... mmmkay.

Today I decided we needed to live up the last few days of summer we have, not that our schedule will change much but the change in weather and my work schedule becoming ever more hectic I have to take the time to smell the roses when I can.

So we went to the park and it was wonderful.

This week we had my girlfriend over from college. I didn't know how much I missed those that 'know' me. It was good to just talk and pick up where we left off. Seriously those are my FAVORITE kind of relationships. No strange awkward moments. Love. It was so so so nice.

And then we had baby bath time which is always so much fun. She just really enjoys it and we have our little routine and its perfect.

What is also perfect is this...

We have had lots of playing and moving around but no crawling. I swear she refuses. She will scoot and get into the crawling position but wants nothing to do with it. I have tried on carpet and on the hardwoods. I think she may just start walking. Sure.

I cooked an artichoke for the first time instead of buying it in a can and this is what I found in the middle. How gorgeous right!! Seriously you would think I am looking at diamonds in the produce department, I comment on how beautiful all the fruits and veg are all.the.time.

Now back to the bathing photos!!
I know this picture is awkward with Daddys hand but her face. YUM.

A little shoutout to Auntie Momo!!

Some of my FAVORITE pictures are of her smiling with her eyes. Makes my heart melt!

On our way to the park she hi-jacked my water tumbler and decided to drink it all herself. Then she looked up at me and just smiled.

Little Diva.

In case you didn't know just how much she likes the swings.

Does this answer your question.

To me she looks like a toddler in this picture. WOWZA.

I turned her around to get her out of the sun and she just crossed her ankles and enjoyed the ride.

Its nice to just enjoy the small things every now again.

Seriously how beautiful is broccoli!?!

Weekend Update with Baby Addie

Life is moving at this speed that I cannot seem to describe, nor can I seem to get my mind to wrap around all of the amazing things we are blessed with. Baby Addie is almost crawling and Saturday morning she woke up with her second tooth that popped thru. She has quite the personality and is such a cuddle bug.

I have also been switching out all of her clothes at an alarming rate, today she was wearing an 18 month old dress. She is 8 months. Wow.

This weekend we went to our nephews graduation party, its so crazy that he finished high school. It was a nice time to be with family but Addie had a long day Saturday visiting some Keiffer family in Syracuse on Saturday so this party was a shorter visit for us.

My sleepy girl was cuddling up with everyone...

The best part were her little ballet flats with her super adorably chunk-alicious feets!!

He watched as we drove off in the corvette, I cant believe how big he looks!

Her smiles are the best thing to look at. Really it makes my days so much better.

I haven't fallen

Off the face of the earth that is...

I have a few things I am doing currently. First off we are wrapping up summer and prepping for the last quarter of the year at work. So that's busy. If you know anyone in the health insurance industry the last quarter is the make it or break it time. Which means lots of hours and thinking and meetings. Oh my.

Anywho the last two weekends were relatively quiet. Which was good. Yesterday we had the in-laws over for lunch, ran some errands and had an enjoyable evening. Saturday was our date night and we headed over to the arcade to mini golf, drive some go-karts and play some games. Just something light, cheap fun.

Other than that fun stuff, I have been working on the household binder type situation. It isn't a binder though. Who uses actual paper anymore. Ha. I just like to save trees I guess. I have been menu planning and creating a cleaning schedule and just getting the house in order. I have been trying out different floor cleaning products and watching a TON of the olympics. Most nights have been glued to the amazing, inspiring individuals who have trained their hearts out to compete for our country. I am slightly sad they are over.

There are a few things I am holding for cold weather projects like our family year books. Yeaaa I need to get on those.

None the less the days are going quicker than every and we are settling into a nice routine. Addie is cutting another tooth so its been some interrupted sleep for all of us. She is uncomfortable, my poor baby but I don't blame her.

The craziest part of this whole organization kick is that I am looking at December already...

A first birthday.

Christmas.

A first birthday. AHHHH.

TOO FAST.

Addie is 8 months
